Rotary Club of Southington received a $700 grant to be used for COVID-19 efforts. We chose to focus on our heroic first responders. In discussions with Town Manager Mark Sciota it became evident that the most immediate need was additional touchless infrared thermometers which police and fire personnel utilize when they arrive first on the scene. Today we presented ten of these high tech thermometers to police and fire personnel. Health Director Shane Lockwood was also in attendance.
